BeMusical stores your recordings, notes, instrument selections, status tags, and settings using Apple's iCloud (via CloudKit), so your library stays in sync across your own devices. This data is stored in your personal iCloud account. We do not operate any servers of our own, and we never see, collect, or have access to your recordings or any other app data.
BeMusical does not require an account with us, does not use analytics or tracking inside the app, and does not transmit any information to us or to any third party. The app does not have a backend server. Your data goes directly from your device to your own iCloud account, governed by your Apple ID and Apple's own privacy policy.
Audio recordings you make in BeMusical sync via iCloud so they're available across your own signed-in devices. They are never uploaded to any server we operate, and we have no access to them. You can export a recording to Files, AirDrop, or any other destination at any time, that remains entirely under your control.
If you enable reminders, BeMusical uses iOS local notifications to nudge you to play. These notifications are generated entirely on-device and do not involve any external service or server.
This website uses privacy-friendly analytics (Plausible) that does not use cookies, does not track individuals across sites, and does not collect personal information. The app itself contains no analytics of any kind.
BeMusical uses Apple's iCloud (via CloudKit) to sync your data across your own devices. This is your personal iCloud account, governed by your Apple ID. We do not have access to it, and Apple's handling of it is covered by Apple's own privacy policy. Beyond Apple's iCloud, BeMusical does not integrate with any other third-party service.
BeMusical does not collect any data from any users, including children under 13. Any data created in the app syncs only to the user's own iCloud account, never to us.
